Explanation Needed.
Before I begin, yes this is another one of those many occurring posts on here saying why I haven’t been blogging much (which incidentally I hate writing but I need to write something), however, I will turn off the comments to stop feeling obliged to comment to tell me that it’s ok etc as I am fully aware that all of my readers understand and don’t mind me taking time away from blogging. Also I would prefer not to have the comments at this time, nothing against anyone, just my personal preference.
Current situation
Basically at the moment I am under a lot of pressure to get work done, not only on the College front though, I have a web design job on the go as well.
It is that time of year when exams are coming up and there’s a lot of work that needs to go into the preparing of these and that includes getting coursework out of the way for the subjects that require it. I only do coursework in one of my subjects but seeing as I took the double option of ICT which equates to 2 A-Levels there is an awful lot to do in conjunction with everything else. On top of all of the ICT coursework I have an exam approaching which takes an awful lot of preparation as it is a practical exam whereby we are issues the exam paper (and we have been issued it already) and we need to do a lot of preparatory work and research work before hand.
Next comes the fact that the current politics units that I’m doing are particularly challenging for me and require a lot of work, so I am trying to fit that in too… And lastly there is the French work, the preparation for the speaking is the most difficult. I would be happy sitting the reading and writing no problem, but the speaking is going to be very difficult as we don’t know for sure what we will be asked by the examiner, plus we need to talk for 12 minutes!
Driving
I am currently learning to drive as I have previously mentioned which is also taking up a lot of my time, it might only be one and a half hour lessons, but that is a considerable amount of time out of my working schedule on a weekend or evening. I am actually progressing decently well with that I think. Each lesson I feel improvements and feel as though certain progression has been made, even if sometimes it’s only a little.
Web design job
I have a web design job on my hands at the moment too which can take up a fair bit of time, especially when you put in the time and effort that I put into it. The website is actually being developed on a CMS which incidentally is WordPress and once that is done I will probably talk a bit more about it. It is certainly coming along well, meetings with the clients are going well and progress is certainly being made.
