Linthorpe FC took a pre-season trip up to Seaham Red Star Reserves. They played a good game and came away with a deserved 4-3 win, and it could have been more, particularly with their great first half performance.

Today I headed down to the Tees Barrage to get some photographs of the jet skiers. I am aware that they are usually down there on a sunday afternoon and thought I would seize the opportunity to put my new camera to use (Canon 50D).

This morning saw Eaglescliffe play Linthorpe FC at Eaglescliffe. The encounter saw Linthorpe win 4-2 and secure 6th position in the division. Early this morning the Stockton South constituency declared James Wharton (Conservative candidate) the winner by a majority of 332. James finished on 19,577 whilst (after a re-count) Dari Taylor (Labour) finished on 19,245.
